Our Associates
We have a number of ‘Associates’ with various specialisations, on whom we can call if a client has a specific need:
Chartered Physiotherapist
We are fortunate enough to have the services of a highly qualified and experienced chartered physiotherapist with his own practice in Bath. He is able to give advice on specific manual handling techniques, correct posture, etc. and is regularly involved in running Manual Handling courses with Ken Hutton.
Consultant Occupational Physician
We also have an arrangement with a local General Practitioner specialising in occupational health, who offers pre-employment screening, medical examinations, vaccinations, etc.
First Aid Trainer
We have worked successfully for some years with a qualified nurse and a very experienced first aid trainer, who runs Appointed Person and First Aid at Work courses and is approved by the HSE.
Occupational Nurse
We regularly call on the services of a qualified nurse with a number years industrial experience, who offers general medical screening, COSHH assessments and advice on occupational health, including the safe use of Display Screen Equipment.
Fire Safety Expert
We regularly call on the services of a retired fire officer who now specialises in fire extinguisher, fire warden and general fire prevention training.
Noise and Dust Specialist
We often make use of the expertise of a highly qualified and very experienced noise and dust specialist, who carries out surveys and monitoring for us and produces comprehensive reports.
